Prevention Many developing countries the world over are evolving programmes for the prevention of rheumatic heart disease as it is an eminently preventable condition , if well organised . रोकथाम विश्वभर में अनेक विकासशील देश संधिवातीय हृदय रोग की रोकथाम के कार्यक्रम लागू कर रहे हैं क़्योंकि यदि उचित ध्यान रखा जाए तो इसकी रोकथाम हो सकती है .

The most common causes in India in order of prevalence are : Coronary heart disease , the most dreaded of all and Rheumatic heart disease -LRB- RHD -RRB- affecting mostly children and young people and accounting for a large number of patients below the age of 30 . अतिरिक़्तदाब हृदय रोग , उच्चरक़्तचाप के कारण होने वाला रोग है.संधिवातीय हृदय रोग ( अथवा रूमेटी हृदयरोग ) अधिकांशतया बच्चों और युवाओं को प्रभावित करता है और इस रोग के अधिकांश रोगियों की आयु 30 वर्ष से कम होती है .
